And we all know what titles DIC is most famous for. And well, that’s pretty much what we got back in the day, courtesy of DIC Entertainment. And as such, a TV show had to be produced for it. The game became popular among gamers as one of the first beat em ups of the late 80s and early 90s. The animated TV series, simply known as “Double Dragon” was an American cartoon show based on the video game franchise by “Technos Japan Corporation”, who were also known for their Kunio Kun series. Well, if you’ve been a Double Dragon fan for as long as I have, then you should already be familiar with the franchise’s lore and history. You know, much like how the Ruby Spears Megaman cartoon was just called “Megaman” and not “Megaman: The Animated Series”. Or just “Double Dragon” as it was simply called. But before I do that, I want to personally thank FailSeeker for suggesting this subject to me. #Double dragon cartoon movie series#And this particular subject was suggested to me by none other than, so I figured, what better time than now to review yet another cartoon series based on a video game? Well, that’s what I’m about to do right now as I once again delve into the world of Double Dragon. I know I keep saying stuff like this in every one of my introductions, but I know that I’ve covered quite a number of titles before in the past. Hey, this is MDTartist83, and welcome to another retro TV review by yours truly.
